Please read these Terms carefully before enrolling in the Deliberate Life™ programme. By completing your enrolment and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Deliberate Life™ is a personal development programme created and delivered by Vidya Culture & Coaching AB (Swedish registered company, org.nr 556816-9337) and Red Bear Consulting Ltd (UK registered company) (together, “we”, “us”, or “the Facilitators”). The programme is hosted on the Teachable platform at deliberate-life.com.
The programme is available in three formats. Self-paced: full access to over seventy-five video lessons, an AI-supported interactive workbook, curated resources, and a personal roadmap, to be completed at your own rhythm. Facilitated: the same content plus four 90-minute live group sessions with Pia and Bart delivered via Zoom. Retreat: an immersive multi-day in-person experience (coming soon). All formats cover ten categories of life through five essential questions and include twelve months of access.
For enquiries: hello@deliberate-life.com
The programme is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Upon receipt of full payment, you will receive access to the Teachable school for the duration specified at the time of enrolment. Your access is personal, non-transferable, and non-shareable. Access is not permitted to be shared with or transferred to any other person.
Programme content is hosted on Teachable. While we make every effort to ensure content remains available throughout the programme, continued access depends on Teachable’s platform remaining operational. We are not liable for disruptions caused by Teachable or other third-party service providers.
All prices are quoted excluding VAT. VAT is calculated and added at checkout by Teachable based on your country of residence and the applicable local rate. Teachable is responsible for collecting and remitting VAT on transactions processed through its platform.
Fees are quoted in EUR. Participants are responsible for any additional taxes or bank charges applicable in their jurisdiction beyond what Teachable collects as a deemed VAT supplier.
Given the nature of this programme—which combines proprietary digital content and limited-cohort live sessions—the following policy applies:
If you are an EU or EEA-based consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital content purchase within 14 days of enrolment, provided you have not yet accessed any course content. By accessing programme content, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal with respect to that content.
Outside of the statutory cooling-off period, refunds are not available as a matter of right. We may, at our sole discretion, consider a partial refund in exceptional circumstances (for example, serious illness documented by a medical professional). Any such request must be submitted in writing to hello@deliberate-life.com within 30 days of the relevant circumstance.
Live Zoom sessions that have already taken place are non-refundable regardless of whether you attended.
Live Zoom session dates will be communicated in advance. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the scheduled dates, but reserve the right to reschedule a session with reasonable notice. If a session must be cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, a recording or equivalent substitute will be provided where possible.
Sessions may be recorded by us for the purpose of providing catch-up content to enrolled participants. By participating in a live session, you consent to being recorded. Recordings are for enrolled participants only and are not to be shared externally.
You agree to engage in live sessions in a way that is respectful of other participants and the facilitators. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a session who is acting disruptively or in breach of these Terms, without refund.
Live sessions involve group sharing. You agree to treat what is shared by other participants in sessions as confidential and not to disclose it outside the group without the relevant participant’s consent.
All programme content—including but not limited to video lessons, written materials, workbooks, frameworks, templates, and the Ask Pia & Bart feature—is owned by the Facilitators and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
Your enrolment grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use programme content for your own private personal development purposes during the access period.
The Deliberate Life™ programme is a personal development experience. Results vary between participants and depend on individual effort, commitment, and circumstances.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes, including but not limited to career changes, relationship improvements, or any particular psychological or emotional state. Participation in the programme does not constitute therapy, counselling, medical treatment, or professional psychological support.
If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, we encourage you to seek qualified professional support. The programme is not a substitute for such support.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Facilitators’ total liability to you in connection with the programme shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the programme.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your participation in the programme, including loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or any outcome you attribute to your participation or non-participation.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We collect and process personal data in connection with your enrolment and participation. Your data is also processed by Teachable as the platform provider. By enrolling, you acknowledge that Teachable’s Privacy Policy applies to your use of the platform.
We will use your personal data to deliver the programme, communicate with you about your participation, and (with your consent) for marketing purposes. We will not sell your data to third parties.
If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@deliberate-life.com.
A full Privacy Policy is available at deliberate-life.com/privacy.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to programme content, session dates, and delivery format. Where changes are material, we will notify enrolled participants with reasonable notice. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund unless they amount to a fundamental change in the nature of what was offered at the time of enrolment.
We reserve the right to terminate your access to the programme without refund if you:
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms or the programme will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
Before initiating formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us at hello@deliberate-life.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the programme and supersede any prior representations or discussions. No waiver of a breach of these Terms shall constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
